AXP90-X53 FULL BLACK is all copper; nickel plated low profile CPU cooler. It has a height of 53mm when equipped with 15mm think fan or 63mm with 25mm thick fan.

TESTING

Testing is carried out on BC1 Mini (open testbench), using the following hardware in 20°C ambient room temperature. Fans are noise normalised to 35dB(A) at distance of 50cm.

BENCHMARKS
Cinebench R23 multicore (stability test) is ran for period of 30 minutes. This is worse case scenario for a given CPU. CPU coolers are typically tested across range of CPU’s for data validation. Gaming thermals will be significantly lower in most instances.
CONCLUSIONS
Thermalright’s AXP90-X53 Full Black, is one of, it not the best 53mm tall low profile coolers currently available. In our testing, we found the cooler performed better with heatpipes orientated towards the motherboard I/O shroud on both AMD and Intel systems.



This could be due to cold plate design, heatpipe positioning in relation to LGA1700 and AM5 CPUs dies. In the second mounting orientation, the AXP90 series coolers perform significantly worse.
