FRACTAL TERRA

Terra is a PC case designed and engineered to reshape the small form factor gaming experience. Inspired by the homes of modern gamers, Terra incorporates boutique design features such as thick panels cut from anodized aluminium, CNC-milled details and FSC-certified solid walnut. Inside, it includes a PCIe 4.0 riser cable and features a stepless slidable central wall for build flexibility, providing space for a powerful GPU up to 322 mm in length.

    FINAL THOUGHTS

From the unboxing experience, the internal PSU extension and riser cable routing channels, as well as adjustable clearance between the CPU and GPU. There is a lot to love with the Fractal Terra. There are also some areas where it leaves something to be desired. There is only a single case fan supported and is located at the bottom of the case, rather than the top. While the Terra can support larger air coolers than let's say the FormD T1 running an equivalent setup. It's unable to fully take advantage of the additional clearance, due to the increased side panel fan turbulence and lack of case fan support above the motherboard. So despite using a more powerful low profile CPU cooler in the Fractal Terra, it will still be outperformed by a weaker cooler running in the T1. All that said, the Terra is easier to build in, locally available to most and cheaper than T1. So it does also have it's advantages.
