The X53 fan is usable for an included fan at this price and performs similarly to NF-A9x14 from Noctua, although slightly thicker at 15mm.
TEST SYSTEM
Testing is carried out on the BC1 Mini (open testbench) in 20°C ambient room temperature.
THERMAL BENCHMARKS
AXP90 X53 Full (paid link) was tested with the included fan at noise normalised 35db(A) and distance of 50CM.
FINAL THOUGHTS
Thermalright's AXP90-X53 Full is one of, it not the best low profile coolers currently available in both motherboard compatibility and cooling performance in the 50-60mm category. In our testing, we found the cooler performed better with heatpipes orientated towards the motherboard I/O shroud on both AMD and Intel CPU's.
